Who's That Girl? Meet Indie Harp Sensation Joanna Newsom

Complex's new weekly feature "Who's That Girl?" spotlights an up-and-coming woman we've got our eye on.

Most of the time, we're pretty keen on poppin' bottles of Ciroc on models, hangin' out with rappers at loud clubs, and pretty much anything that would fall under #shityouwishyoucoulddo. However, every now and then we like to trade in some of the Waka Flocka for some Death Cab and get in a bubble bath mellow out. Since we're always on point we decided to check out indie harp hottie Joanna Newsom's third album Have One On Me, which dropped today.

Oh, you haven't been put on yet? Well lookit, she came on the scene plucking the heart strings of emo hipsters in '04 and has been on the grind since then. The harp is kinda pretentious, but anyone who dates Andy Samberg can't be too serious (plus she's totally pluckable). We'd say more but why don't you take a look at 5 videos that have Ras Trent and ourselves saying ba-da-dingda-dingda whoa!!!

JOANNA DROPS HER FIRST SINGLE (2004)
• While the song may not be your cup of tea, you gotta admit, Joanna's cute proper girl steez does make this video a whole lot better, especially since it's mostly her proving she's good with her hands. Plus we fucks with the whole ChalkZone effect in the background.

GETTING THE KIMMEL CO-SIGN (2005)
• There is a lot of late night fuckery (pun totally intended), however Kimmel has stayed pretty sharp and steady. So when he features something it's usually a good sign for your career. It's kinda like the Colbert Bump or the lesser known (not to mention ironclad-contract-protecting-against-sexual-harassment-claims) Complex Hump.

MAKING A DICK JOKE FOR PAPER MAGAZINE (2008)
• We know when you see a harp, you think high maintenance or Greek mythology. However, Joanna totally gets points for looking beautiful while joking that the Paper Magazine camera man has a little dick. We're not sure if that's wifey or trifey material but we're also not sure if we care either way.

• Banks usually pay a lot of dough for advertising because it's always good to have your name out there. So when something synonymous with cash wants you to represent them in anyway shape or form you're usually getting up there.

PLAYING A MILF IN MGMT'S VIDEO FOR "KIDS" (2009)
• MGMT gets total props for getting Joanna to ditch the whole tree hugger look and play a hot, kind of Sasha Grey looking MILF. We're fairly sure she won't turn into a regular video vixen or anything, but hey we can dream right?
