The Mystery Complex Twister Girl: Laura Petersen

On Thursday, when we posted our Cabin Fever Survival Guide, the streets perked up—and not because they enjoyed cocktail recommendations. No, they were smitten with whoever that was playing Twister in the picture, aka "the most beautiful woman ever," aka "what is her name?! my goodness shes amazing" [sic]. Well, her name's Laura Petersen, and seeing as how we're smitten with her twos too, we had to bring her back with more (many more!) pictures. My dorky side is the video game player in me!I love to play New Super Mario Bros. on the Wii.

What was the most enjoyable thing about your Complex shoot?
When they made it "rain" with monopoly money at me! ;)

What's your good-luck ritual when you go on a call?
I try my best to stay positive and embrace the outcome no matter what-as hard as this sometimes can be! A prayer always helps...
I also wish well on others, like my competition. Either way I can leave feeling I was my very best.

What kind of guys hit on you the most?
The ones who want to take me home—and not to meet their mother. :)

If you weren't a model, what other profession would you want?
A sexy librarian! But seriously, I'd love to travel the world studying cultures and being introduced to new cuisines.

What's the sneakiest way you've ever used your looks to get over?
Upgrades to first class, passing college without going to class... and do you think I ever wait in line at Shake Shack?

If you could guest star in a music video, whose would it be?
That's a good one. I first wanted to be a model when I saw George Michael's "Freedom" video. It would be cool to do a remake of that with a hip-hop feel.

What's your least favorite thing about yourself? Why?
I can be sensitive, which clouds my judgement—you have to have thick skin in this business. Still, being sensitive is a great way of staying genuine and thoughtful of others. Take the good with bad, buddy!

What's your favorite night-time hangout? Why?
My sister's kitchen during the holidays with my other sister and mom, or the beach in Montauk with a fire pit going. Pretty simple—and always relaxed.
