In Complex's new Celeb Girl Power Rankings, we scour the news blogs to give you the good, the really good, and the really hot in the world of famous women: things like who's smashing who, who's picked up a felony DUI, who's dating a drugged-out rock star, and who's the got the hottest candid photos for the week that was. This week an Olympic skiier solidifies her status as America's sweetheart, an O.G. singer breaks records with the release of her own, and a Kardashian sister actually makes us proud (for now). #10. COURTNEY LOVE
• Before you scoff at the idea of Courtney Love making this list, you have to remember, the last time we saw her she looked like this. The new issue of Spin that features Hole's frontwoman (note to selves: there's gotta be a joke in "Hole's frontwoman" somewhere) couldn't have come out at a better time, being that she's been making headlines recently for disowning her daughter. And dare we say it, she actually looks semi-pretty.

#9. ASHANTI
• Ashanti's making a comeback...or at least, a disillusioned version of it. Following in the footsteps of her former boss, Irv Gotti, the "Foolish" singer has inked a contract for her very own reality show. We bet the ratings will be murderrrrr. As in, not very good at all.

• Rumor has it, Penelope Cruz is in talks to reunite with her former Blow co-star, Johnny Depp in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. This must be a score for the production company—they may finally land a girl they don't need to digitally enhance.

• Usher's outfit and Alicia Keys's lyric changes to "Empire State of Mind" made for two out of three fails in NBA All Star Game performances, but luckily Shakira's sexy show saved the night. People on Twitter were complaining about her vocals, but dude, if you give a fuck about how she sounds instead of how she looks you may be this guy. Heyyy.

• U.S. Olympic skier and favorite to win, Lindsey Vonn, won the gold despite badly injuring her shin just two weeks ago. So this is what redemption looks like? Maybe Lindsey Jacobellis can take notes for 2014.

• Just when we were convinced album sales were dead, the O.G. Sade shows us that we just needed the right artist to sell 'em. Complex's Wifey Hall of Famer pushed 502k copies in her first week of release, even after a ten-year hiatus. We're gonna have to go ahead and stop doing the poll if she's appointed president of Def Jam next week.
