The latest season of MTV's The Hills began last night (minus Lauren Conrad, but plus Kristin Cavallari). For those who (front like you) don't keep up with the show, it's basically about some decent-looking rich L.A. girls with superficial, bullshit drama that seems to be never-ending. MTV's spin-off series The City, starring Whitney Port, is pretty much exactly the same thing, only set in NYC.
