True, that SHOULD be how it is, but once you get to the ages between 16-20, . the lines start to blur. Like, some 16-year-olds date those that are 18. I had an 18 year old girlfriend at 16, as well as had a friend that dated a 19 year old guy at 17. to me, as long as the age difference is less than 4 years with the youngest in the relatinoship being 16, as well as the maturity of both people in the relationship, and what the relationship is based off of, it shouldn't matter. If its just for sex, then no, they shouldn't be together. if its because you enjoy each other's company and find each n Texas,other attractive, then its fine as long as you wait for the younger in the relationship to turn 18, or, in Texas, 17 with Parental conscent. To me, it's just a matter of opinion.
