This Friday, the remake of writer/director Wes Craven's low budget 1972 horror classic The Last House on the Left hits theaters. The movie, which tells the story of parents exacting revenge on the escaped convicts who've recently savaged their daughter, is decidedly slicker than the original, but not necessarily better.
