Earlier this week, the NYPD arrested three people in Brooklyn after recovering hundreds of prescription pills, guns and money. That, and their pet alligator named "Snapple."
On New Year's Eve, 40-year-old Sharper Thomas was arrested at his Canarsie apartment, as were roommates Tony Davis, 37, and Samantha Davis, 34. After executing a search warrant, police found 668 oxycodone pills, two loaded firearms and $33,000 in cash. Officers got quite the surprise when Snapple was discovered lurking through the apartment.
Thomas faces drug and weapons possession charges, while the Davis' were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to the New York Post, prosecutors are trying to determine if they can charge all three for illegal possession of Snapple, who has been taken in by the ASPCA.
Snapple deserves a better home than this.
