Camden, N.J. just took another hit.

The town is losing its lone supermarket today, one of three Pathmarks that are closing in the state. Sam Ferraino, the president of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1360, told the Cherry Hill Courier-Post that supermarkets have been struggling lately. “This has been a really tough year,” he said, adding that the Superfresh stores closed in January.

The Cherry Hill and Edgewater Park locations are closing as well, which will render 238 people unemployed. First the dramatic reduction of Camden's police force and now this. Ouch.
