Yesterday afternoon, a bus carrying eleven 5 and 6-year-old children was struck by a bullet in Harlem. NBC New York says that around 3:30 p.m., a bus parked outside of the Choir Academy of Harlem was hit with a bullet that "traveled from more than a block away," the result of a gun fight in the area.

The children were removed from the bus and no one was injured. Police shut down East 127th Street between Madison and Park Avenues, but no arrests have been made.
