More and more young poeple are visitng hospital emergency rooms due to overdoses on ADHD medication such as Ritalin and Adderall. According to a report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, emergency room visits because of prescription and non-prescription drug overdoses for 18-34-year-olds jumped from 5,600 to almost 23,000 between 2005 and 2011. Even more alarming, a number of these also included alcohol.
