People in the city are always afraid that they are missing something; even at raging parties and bustling events, they find time to tilt their head down toward their smart phone and keep up with their digital life. Sure, everyone and their mother has been sucked into social media, but while Mom is busy "liking" baby pictures and posting motivational quotes, you'll be combing your feed for the weekend's coolest events and networking with colleagues in your field that you've never met in person. Be careful when you head back home to visit friends and family, in some parts of the country, it is apparently considered rude to whip out your phone at the dinner table. Who knew?
