3. The Sauna that is a Subway Station
In early summer, subway stations stay cool. The heat takes a couple extra weeks to trickle down the steps into the dank subterranean underground. Once it does, it's awful down there. The smelliest, sweatiest, dirtiest experience of your life will take place waiting for that delayed train to take you to work. Whatever attempt you'd made at looking presentable and professional for your day of work or a date will go right out the window as your hair expands and your shirt grows soaked. Every so often, you will get incredibly unlucky and the usually air conditioned subway car will malfunction. On those mornings, your commute will be a gauntlet of stuffy, sweating overheated humanity. Just hope everyone is wearing deodorant.
Heads up: Chances are, they won't be.
