North Texas Ravaged By Tornadoes

Last night, a series of tornadoes tore through north Texas, injuring hundreds and killing at least six people. Grandbury, TX was hit exceptionally hard, as one tornado destroyed two neighborhoods. Grandbury, which is located about 65 miles southwest of Dallas, has several homes that were built by habitat for humanity that were destroyed. There are roughly 120 homes in the community; the majority of them were ravaged, and as many as three different tornadoes could have struck the area.

The number of deaths could increase as rescue efforts continue.
