Reno 911: 42,000 Pound Ketchup Spill Causes Traffic Nightmare in Nevada

Don't fear—it's not blood, it's only ketchup. Yesterday afternoon, a tractor carrying 42,000 pounds of ketchup crashed in Reno, NV, coating the highway with a red sea of inconvenience. Luckily, no one was injured in the accident, but all of that ketchup absolutely ruined yesterday's afternoon commute.

"I have red everywhere on the highway," said Sgt. Janay Sherven with the Nevada Highway Patrol. "No bodies, no people, just ketchup."

Snowplows were deployed to deal with the mess in a swift manner. What a waste of perfectly good ketchup.
