Maine Woman Suspected of Carrying Fetus Around in Grocery Bag

Authorities in Bangor, ME are currently investigating the possible presence of a fetus that was being carried inside of a plastic bag by a woman. On Friday, police approached the woman after receiving a call that she was walking around with a fetus. The alleged fetus was inside of a plastic container, which was inside of a grocery bag.

Today, the state medical examiner is supposed to determine whether or not it is a fetus, how old it is and if it came from an abortion or miscarriage. If it is a fetus, they'll also attempt to determine who the mother is. The woman's identity is being withheld, and there have been no arrests made or charges filed.
