6. Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood

This 113th street mosque was home to Malcolm's organization, Muslim Mosque Inc. after the he parted ways with Elijah Muhammad. The group consisted of former Nation of Islam members and fellow Civil Rights Activists. Nestled in the heart of Harlem, the building still stands today, hosting weekly Friday prayers for Harlemites and New Yorkers as a whole. Tourists across the country often make the trip.
