Waiter at NYC Restaurant Arrested for $126,000 Credit Card Scam

A Kutsher's Tribeca waiter was arrested in New York last week after using a device to steal credit card numbers from customers and recklessly spend their money throughout Manhattan. According to the New York Post, the waiter ripped off 110 Chase credit cards, in addition to cards from Citibank, American Express and Discover to purchase $126,000 worth of merchandise.

Kutsher's released a statement saying that they cooperated with police and that the suspect has not worked at the restaurant since last April. According to the Post, the waiter's scam spanned from February 1 through April 30.
