2013 began on an awful note for an older Los Angeles man who was killed by a falling refrigerator while trying to get a cold beer. The sad incident happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, when the victim went to get a beer from the refrigerator in his garage when the appliance fell over and crushed him.
The man, who was in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
