Andre Wechsler Says: "In Germany, the city of Düsseldorf is the traditional home of the Altbier. An Altbier is a mash-up of a lager and ale, using top-fermenting yeast at colder lager temperatures. If 'Alt' was a British beer, it would rank in the flavor spectrum somewhere between brown and dark ale. Uerige is copper-colored, clean tasting with an aromatic hop presence, and a dry finish."
