Andre Wechsler Says: "Brewed by Professor Briem in his experimental brewery, 1809 is a treat for the nose and eyes. This wheat beer is a very traditional interpretation of the Berliner-style Weisse with an intense blend of tartness and fruitiness. Berliner Weisse is a very sour beer, and although I like to drink "as is," it's usually sweetened with raspberry or sweet woodruff syrup."
