Andre Wechsler Says: "This brewery was founded in 1543, making it one of the oldest black-lager producers in Germany. The Schwarzbier is a medium-bodied, malt-accented dark brew, deep sepia in color and with a firm, creamy head. Despite its dark color, it tastes surprisingly balanced, with chocolate/caramel aromas and a hoppy finish. I've not tasted a better Schwarzbier."
