Turns Out That Florida Man Wasn't Playing Russian Roulette After All

26-year-old Donnie McLendon, who was believed to have shot himself in the head while playing Russian Roulette with friends, has died. McLendon was rushed to a hospital in Tampa and was in critical condition. At first his friends, Thomas Rady and David McKee, told police that he was shot by an intruder while they were drinking and smoking weed. Then they said it happened during a game of Russian Roulette. Now, police have a third option: Rady accidentally shot McLendon.

An autopsy poked holes in Rady and McKee's account, and police now say the 28-year-old Rady was holding the 44-caliber handgun when it discharged. Rady, who's been charged with manslaughter, turned himself in and was released on $20,000 bond.
