Joey Chestnut was crowned the wing eating champ at the National Buffalo Wing Festival over the weekend after punishing a record-setting 191 wings in a mere 12 minutes. The competition went down in Buffalo, NY (surprise, surprise), and Chestnut defeated Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas, who had won in 2004, and then every year since 2007.
After eating 7.61 pounds of wings, the San Jose, CA, native decided to celebrate his victory with some much-deserved sleep. He says it took him six hours to recover, so imagine the backflips his stomach must have been doing.
