First off, God bless America. Eric Butkiewicz, 31, was arrested at club LIV in Miami early on July 5 after someone told a security guard that he was selling pills inside of the venue. He agreed to a police search, which produced 13 Xanax pills hidden in the pocket of his shirt.
Butkiewicz was subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to Miami-Dade jail. It's there that he took this wonderfully patriotic mugshot. He's free on $5,000 bail, but you have to appreciate the irony of an Independence Day celebration ending with incarceration.
That's the American way, baby.
