LP of the Week: Nas, Life Is Good
The God shines through on his tenth LP, with the help of No ID, Salaam Remi and a choice few other monster producers. Been kinda down on Nas the last few LPs due to the beat selections and commercial appeal efforts, but not anymore. Haven't been this happy about a Nas full length since Illmatic, and not afraid to say it.
Incredible record by one of the best MCs to ever bless the mic. "Daughters" may very well be one of the most important records by a New York MC in eons. And further, the subliminal statement made by the cover is fucking genius. Cop that, son.
