Cornell’s Thirteenth Amendment manuscript is one of 14 known copies of the Amendment that Lincoln is believed to have signed. This article is the one that fundamentally proves that slavery was not completely outlawed at all with the drafting of the Emancipation Proclamation; the 13th Amendment makes an exception for people serving prison time…meaning that slavery was never truly abolished unconditionally. A loophole that fundamentally exists tot his day in US Constitutional Law. Run and tell that.
