We can't really tell you about how great a coping mechanism liquor is during the stressful holiday season. Instead, we're reminding you that the holidays are great, and that if you want to have a drink to unwind, well, go right ahead. But before you start brown-bagging bodega swill, wish on all your luckiest stars for someone in your life to buy you any of these bottles. Or buy one for yourself. You deserve it.

I don't understand why there are no mezcals on this list as it has become huge this year. Ilegal Mezcal Añejo should be on here!

Really? If I got either Kahlua or that June liqueur as a gift I'd be pissed off. I agree with brklynkid...I live in the city and apparently Mezcal is the newest and hottest chick on the block. Yet on this list we have 4 tequilas, 4 scotches, 4 whiskeys, 2 bourbons, 3 gins, etc,etc... If you are gonna create a list for the holidays, at least go out there and get creative. Go out to the bartenders, bars, clubs and see whats out there that people want and are actually drinking. Instead of sitting in the office and getting samples of booze dropped off to you by brand reps !!! LAZZZYYYYY...
