Mama's Boy

Mama's Boy

Episode: “The Pants Tent” (Season 1, Episode 1)
Address: n/a
Website: n/a

Despite Larry and Cheryl's best efforts to use Seinfeld as leverage to score a table at this fictional spot (you couldn't tell from the name?), the lack of an available two-top condemns them to an awkward dinner with Jeff, Susie, and Jeff's parents, who LD managed to rub the wrong way with an earlier Hitler comment.

It's the first episode of the show's first season, and the first restaurant featured. Could LD set the tone for the the Curb experience any better than with a Hitler joke? The bar has been set.

This is somewhere in Westwood. Can't think of it at the moment. Just before they eat there, LD is in the parking lot next to what used to be Madison's, a country-western bar, The Good Earth and more. Just south of CPK. 26th Street Bakery is actually Jamaica's Cakes on Pico Blvd between Sawtelle and Bundy. And yes, they do make "erotic" cakes, dong-shaped cookies that say "Eat Me," and, of course, elegant, multi-tiered wedding cakes. And whatever else your heart and tummy desire. Highly recommend this WLA gem!
