Sometimes we have to look everywhere for the five songs on our Shuffle playlist. Not today. Notable leaks from big artists in the past 24 hours were plentiful and we’ve rounded up the best of the bunch. N.E.R.D teamed up with Santigold. Big Boi did the same with Gucci Mane. The Killers rocked out for the unexpectedly dope Twilight soundtrack. Yeah, we got all of that and more. Keep reading to start listening and downloading…

“Never wear anything that you wouldn’t want to wear in jail,” a guideline that southern rapper Young Jeezy has followed everyday when it comes to getting fresh. Sure the statement may seem a little extreme to those of us who aren’t involved in any bing-worthy activities but we can’t front, Jeezy makes his clothes work for him. That said, you won’t catch the snowman rocking skinny jeans and colorful dunks anytime soon. Sticking to classics like leather jackets and 59/50 fitteds, the Trapstar manages to own an aesthetic different than the usual rap trendsetters, and still look cool. In our October/November issue, Jeezy stepped it up a notch, but wore clothes that would be welcomed in any hood. Read on to see how you could get Mr. Jenkins’ look…

As much as we like to discover new artists, sometimes it’s best to stick with what you know. Sure, we deliver quality tracks everyday with our Shuffle, but they’re not always by people that you’re familiar with. That’s not the case today. This mix is packed with some of our favorite artists and songs by them that you probably haven’t heard yet. Start listening and downloading after the jump. Your tired ass playlists will thank you…
Yesterday, the internet was going nuts over our Clipse x KAWS collaboration, the first of three cover stories from Complex’s October/November issue (click here if you missed it). Well now it’s time to feast your eyes on our second cover: Young Jeezy, with illustration by Philly graf kingpin ESPO. Both artists are known for flipping American capitalism on it’s head, so the partnership was a natural fit.
The issue hits stands on October 6, but you can check out the full interview by Sacha Jenkins and a behind the scenes video now. Stay tuned tomorrow for the release of our third cover—the issue’s sexy female side.
He stole the show on 2007’s “Wipe Me Down (Remix)” and Webbie’s 2008 hit “Independent,” but it’s actually been three long years since Boosie Bad Azz had an album of his own. To celebrate his return, the pride of Baton Rouge recently dropped this new single with another one of Complex’s favorite rappers, Young Jeezy. Come to think of it, Boosie’s been in the game for a decade now (he released his debut at the age of 16), so hopefully this video is a sign that his long-awaited LP Super Bad: The Return of Bad Azz is actually dropping this year. You better believe it!
