Complex’s new weekly feature “Who’s That Girl?” spotlights an up-and-coming woman we’ve got our eye on.
If you caught the fight this weekend, we’re pretty sure you got a glimpse of these girls too. Audiences got to pre-game with the Filipina trio, La Diva, comprised of former Pinoy Pop Superstars (the Filipino equivalent of American Idol) as they gave their rendition of “Lupang Hinirang,” the national anthem of the Philippines. Since signing with GMA records, the group’s had non-stop exposure on GMA tv, one of the leading television networks in their country. With the girls fresh-off-the-boat here in America, we decided to co-sign and showcase what the Philippines apparently already can’t get enough of. Watch 5 clips and get familiar with La Diva below…

If you watch NBC’s The Office religiously like we do, you’ve probably noticed Dunder Mifflin’s cute new secretary, played by Ellie Kemper. This St. Louis native has had quite a career so far, working with comedy troupes like the People’s Improv Theatre and the Upright Citizens Brigade, writing for smart publications like The Onion and McSweeney’s, and appearing in sketches on various late night shows and websites. And after her breakout Office role, she should be a household name in no time. Watch 5 clips that made us take notice of Ellie Kemper below…

From Jamie Lee Curtis to Neve Campbell, there’s a long tradition of so-called “Scream Queens” we love. But who’s the next horror movie hottie to break out? Meet Jocelin Donahue, the star of this weekend’s indie fright fest The House of the Devil. The movie, which is a throwback to classic ’80s horror, is getting rave reviews, in no small part due to the breakout performance of the film’s striking leading lady. But Jocelin didn’t just pop up out of the blue—she’s been hustling in Hollywood for a few years now, turning heads in TV commercials and landing smaller parts in movies. Keep reading to watch the 5 scenes that made us take notice of Jocelin Donahue…

It’s times like these that we’re inclined to quote the wise words of Juvenile: “She get it from her maaamaa!” That’s right, the spectacular two’s you’re looking at above belong to the lovely Eva Amurri, who happens to be the daughter of Wifey Hall of Fame contender Susan Sarandon and Italian director Franco Amurri.
For years, Eva has been popping up in smaller movie roles, but it wasn’t until her recent turn as a college student/stripper on Showtime’s Californication that we truly took notice. See, in two out of the three episodes she’s appeared in so far, she performs a jaw-dropping strip tease, showing off her truly remarkable two’s. Watch the 5 moments that made us take notice of Eva Amurri below…

The new 90210 has plenty of pretty young things, but for West Beverly’s sole black student Dixon (a.k.a. Tristan Wilds from The Wire), it’s damn near impossible to find a fine woman of color. Shit, they had Lauren London play a cheerleader on the show, but her character turned out to be a lesbian. WTF!
But lately we’ve noticed that Dixon has a pretty brown skinned lady on his arm, an actress/dancer by the name of Mekia Cox. Raised in Florida and originally from the Virgin Islands, Mekia earned her stripes on the stage in productions like Fame and Ragtime, and was a featured dancer on the Michael Jackson tour that is now being released as a documentary called This Is It. After guest-starring in various TV shows, her 5-episode arc as Sasha on 90210 might be her big breakout. Watch the scenes that made us take notice below…

After Hova officially blew down MSG for the umpteenth time on 9/11 (he’s like a young Marvin in his hey), one question was left lingering on many a mind: was or was that Alicia Keys stunt double going for dolo on “Empire State of Mind”? Plenty were asking, but none were answering, so we put our investigative cap on and sent the Complex interns detectives out to find out something about Bridget Kelly.
The 21-year-old Roc Nation signee and NYC local (she graduated from LaGuardia H.S. in Manhattan, the place that Fame was based on) is obviously easy on the ears, and it turns out she’s not so hard on the eyes, either. The resemblance to our girl Ms. Keys is a good start, but we went one better and scrounged up some clips of B.K. going hard. Listen, learn, and fall in love…
