Style The 15 Best Crewneck Sweatshirts

lead
It’s officially September which means the temperatures you’ve experienced during the summer are a thing of the past. Sure we’d love to wear t-shirts all year round, and only hoodies during colder weather, but rocking a sick crewneck could be a game-changer. From surfer inspired pieces from Warriors of Radness to the spaced out looks of Billionaire Boys Club, we got a batch of 15 that you can choose your pick from. Read on for the best…

Style Brand Profile: Warriors of Radness

BRAND: Warriors of Radness

SINCE: 2007

HOME BASE: Los Angeles, CA

FOUNDED BY: Rick Klotz also founded Freshjive, RMK

WHY WE COSIGN: Rick Klotz has been in the streetwear game since we were all no more than a wet dream on a bedsheet. Homie has paid his dues, and put in his time. Hell, Freshjive is so rock-solid, Klotz is taking the logos off the whole line for Spring. So Cosign #1: Rick Klotz is king of this shit. Cosign #2? The Warriors of Radness line takes ’80s and ’90s beach themes and turns it modern, and in turn, highly covetable items for these hot summer months. We got our own interview on with RMK, after the jump.

Style Buy It Now: Warriors of Radness Word Trunk

warriors_front
Fourth of July weekend may have passed, but that’s no reason to put your patriotism back on the shelf. There’s no better way to give back to the land of the free than by paying up for today’s Buy It Now.

Made of nylon, lined with mesh, and with a Velcro pocket on the back (just think of all the bud party favors you could have tucked away during the family pool parties), these Warriors of Radness swim trunks don’t need water to serve their purpose. Throw in the contrast of the black-and-gray drawstring, the abstract cut-out design (nostalgic for kindergarten arts and crafts projects much?), and there’s only one word left to say: Word. For details, pics and Buy It Now info, see below…

Style Buy It Now: Warriors of Radness Teamster Crew

warriors1
WOR co-founder Chad Marshall rocks his own shit.

We already gave SoCal surf brand Warriors of Radness some Brand Profile love, and now we have a fresh WOR piece to recommend. Today’s Buy It Now is the Teamster Crew from the line founded by brothers Trace and Chad Marshall and Rick Klotz of FreshJive. It’s a fleece sweatshirt (available in both the pictured teal and black) that exemplifies the brand’s Cali kickback cool—something to throw on for the coming months when warm days turn to nipply nights. For Buy It Now info and detail pics of both colorways, see below….

Depending on who you are, Warriors of Radness is either the worst name for a brand, or the best you’ve ever heard. Either way, you won’t forget this surfer-inspired Southern Cali T-shirt line that has dope graphics and a legit pedigree.

The Brothers Marshall (aka Chad and Trace Marshall) are two crazy surfers from Malibu who officially rep WOR. The brand was actually started by Rick Klotz, the outspoken founder of Freshjive, who recently garnered some attention with a controversial T-shirt showing Palestinian child soldiers. Hit up Reserve LA to cop WOR gear like the T-shirts shown below…
