Wake N' Watch Wake N’ Watch: ‘Modern Warfare 2′ Video Game Trailer

Mark your calendars for November 10. It’s the day that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comes out and the day that your social life goes out the window. If this game turns out to be half as good as this trailer makes it seem (it will) then we won’t feel the least bit bad about ignoring work obligations and not returning calls from the girlfriend. We’re not cool with the idea of real military attacks on our home soil, but we’ll be damned if letting off rounds in an under-attack Washington D.C. doesn’t look like the funnest thing ever and we’re sure that millions of gamers agree. We suggest taking the next month to get important things done and clear the schedule, because once this one drops, not much else is going to matter.

Tune in to Complex.com every morning at 8 AM for your daily “Wake N’ Watch” video.

Style 10.Deep’s ‘I Vs. I’ Collection Is Ready For War

lead-vest.jpg
Streetwear brands have been milking the teet of the country's political mindset for the past few months with a gang of Obama (and McCain?) themed threads. Rather than use the candidates' mug for some un-inspiring shirts, 10.Deep got more inspired by our shitty economy and the country’s bleak future for Part II of their Fall '08 delivery, dubbed the “I Vs. I.” collection.

The range includes hyper-functional cut-and-sew garments like a “Duck and Cover” jacket and a “World War Seven Reversible” vest that as the brand explains, will protect people from the “cold winds of change approaching over the post-apocalyptic horizon.” Shit is that serious in these streets! Check out the new collection, which hits stores October 24, below…

Style Trendhumper: Marching Band Jackets

trendhumpercoldplay2_main.jpg
In this age of extreme individuality, sometimes the situation just calls for a uniform. To match the vague French Revolution theme of their latest album Viva La Vida, Coldplay has been rocking military-inspired marching band-style jackets everywhere they go, from iTunes commercials to magazine covers.

But Chris Martin and company are far from the first ones to try out this look. The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Adam Ant, Chris Brown and Kanye West have all pulled out variations on the style at various points in their career. Will the marching band jacket make it to the streets, or will it remain the momentary fashion statement of overpaid musicians? Vote whether to “hump” or “dump” this trend below.

Knowing is half the battle. And if you don’t know who Rachel Nichols is, you will soon'she’s taking on the role of leading lady Scarlett in the forthcoming live-action movie adaptation of G.I. Joe. For the buxom red-head who’s most famous for her role on Alias, going from espionage to the military is a fitting transition.

According to G.I. Joe lore, Scarlett was Duke’s love interest, but didn’t have a heavy presence in the 1987 animated movie. We’ll see how things change in the Greatest American Hero’s world when the new movie drops in August 2009. In the meantime, watch a clip (after the jump) from Dumb & Dumberer of Rachel in a hot tub making out with Tom Cruise’s first wife.
