The only thing we like more than one-toned Half Cabs, is three-toned Half Cabs. These regular in-line models throw the Heather Gray colorway into the mix, without disrupting the always popular black/red scheme.Perfect. You won’t have to search hard for these, check your local Vans shop to cop for $65.

If you’re a die-hard Vans fan, but are looking to expand into silhouettes past the Half Cab and Era’s, check out this Switchback CA style. Photos leaked of the half-boot half-sneaker this summer, but they’re just starting to go on sale now at select retailers. Besides looking awesome, the 4” sneaker features premium leather and a vulcanized sole, so you won’t have to worry about them falling apart, even in the middle of winter. Scoop them up at top-tier Vans outlets now for $85.

This winter, expect to see Vans crank out a lot of Chukka Boots, some even lined with fur to keep your feet warm. Before the make-ups with the fur insides hit the shelves, look out for this Vapor Blue Chukka that has finally made its way to stores in the U.S. You can cop the sneaker for a reasonable $60, and if you’re really feeling the color, check for the Era that’s done up the same way. Available now.

Sometimes, it’s the simple design ideas that work out the best. Vans takes a can’t-go-wrong colorway (black/white) and puts it on a can’t-go-wrong silhouette. We could spend a hours talking about the design cues, but if you’re not up on Cabs by now, well we can’t do anything for you. Check for these at Vans Vault retailers around the country, right now.

If there’s something Vans’ knows how to do well, it’s make collaborations with dope illustrators work well. This month, the skate brand teams up with Robert Crumb, king of “underground comix,” to bring the iconic characters Mr. Natural, Fritz The Cat, and Crumb’s “Modern America” to footwear. In all, Crumb lended his art to four sneakers—the R.Crumb Classic Slip-On ($52), Authentic One Piece LX ($90), Chukka Boot Lx ($95), and a Sk-8 Hi Deconstruct ($60). The shoes are now available at Vans retailers around the country.

Sure some Old Skool colorways are better than others, but these ‘92 reissues that Ray Barbee wore may be the best ever. If you’re not into wearing white lows after August, you’re going to want to make an exception when these drop. Or of course, there’s always the option of putting them on ice until next summer. You decide. Check for them in stores in the next few weeks.
