Lots of new music hit the blogs today. Our girl Nicki Minaj hopped on Jason DeRulo’s latest hit and Usher’s collab with T.I. from his album leaked too. Jim Jones and friends go in over “O Let’s Do It” on their new joint, and ironically, Wale just dropped a track sampling Wayne’s freestyle from the same beat. Sounds like a good line-up, right? Stream and download these songs and more after the jump…

TGIF! We know you’re ready to get the weekend started, but take a second to check out today’s new music beforehand. SMKA came through with a Pill record from their compilation album dropping on Monday, Joe Budden released a new record that mentions Jersey Shore of all things, and we got our hands on an Usher leak that seems to be official for once. That’s not a bad way to close out the week, right? Alll those songs and more are available to stream and download right after the jump…

We’re starting off the week strong with today’s Shuffle playlist. Rookies Wale and B.o.B came through with fresh material, Usher hooked up with Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga and Cam’ron have new songs on deck. What a well-rounded selection. Start listening and deciding what you want to download after the jump…
Gucci Mane has given us street anthems for years now, so we’re not surprised that he’s expanding his appeal by catering to the ladies with “Spotlight,” the first single off The State vs. Radric Davis. It might be a little odd to see a guy who was just the South’s best kept secret dancing around with Usher now, but stuff like this comes with the territory of success. We’ll deal with it for now, but we still need to hear the standard La Flare content on this album. We’ll find out if the LP delivers in that aspect on December 8, or when it leaks in a couple weeks. Burrrr!
Tune in to Complex.com every morning at 8 AM for your daily “Wake N’ Watch” video.

In a stunning P.R. move, embattled and possibly insane R&B legend R. Kelly invited a gang of “music journalists” to his house in the Chicago suburbs last night, where he previewed tracks from his upcoming album and generally made the journalists feel important and more likely to not judge Kellz for his allegedly freaky tendencies. And it worked! Everyone from cable TV titans to our favorite radio employee wrote glowing accounts of the evening. Are we sad we weren’t invited?
Well, yes and no. Yes because we found it odd that we’re deemed not as important as people whose contribution to journalism amounts to a Blogspot account, and no because WE WENT TO HIS HOUSE ANYWAY, BITCHES*. What, you thought Complex wouldn’t find a way around some bullshit-ass guard dogs? Not only did we go, but we went rogue in that piece like Jack muhfuckin’ Bauer. Get ready for a look inside R. Kelly’s crib, Complex-style….
Aziz Ansari and his fellow pussy hounds, Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman and Usher
They say that if you can make a woman laugh, you can get in her pants. And judging by the stories we’ve been hearing from our homie Aziz Ansari, the star of MTV sketch comedy show Human Giant, no truer words have been spoken.
A couple weeks ago Aziz kicked off his “Glow In the Dark” stand-up tour (check the IM chat with Kanye that got the whole thing started), and apparently he’s been fighting off groupies like David Hasselhoff at an AARP convention ever since. We’ve been in touch with Aziz about working on some stuff for next year (spoiler!), and he wanted to share the latest road stories from his debauched tour. Read on to see what went down last weekend, in his own words…
The New York Giants. The Washington Redskins. Giants Stadium, 7 p.m, NBC. Oh yeah, we’re ready for some muthafuckin’ football! Since 2002, the NFL season opener has kicked off on a Thursday night'in the past we’ve been ambivalent about the midweek start, but this year we’re ecstatic to have a respite from the Republican National Convention. (Of course the Republicans still fucked it up by forcing an early kickoff so the game doesn’t conflict with McCain’s acceptance speech…just pray for overtime!)
Like the Super Bowl, the Thursday night opener has become event television. To prepare you for the festivities, we’ve listed five things below for you to check for during tonight’s game…
Phew! We’ve been waiting for this one. In the new video for Usher’s #1 single “In This Club,” singer/songwriter Keri Hilson gets her leading lady on. Don’t expect your run-of-the-mill video chick though'Ms. Hilson is straight wifey material. If you’re not familiar with Keri from all her appearances on Timbalandsingles, she’s been writing hit songs for other artists with her crew The Clutch for years. Now, the Atlanta native is signed to Polow Da Don’s Zone 4 Entertainment for her upcoming solo debut. In the meantime, watch her out-do Ursher’s old lady after the jump.
