The long-awaited sequel to 1982's classic sci-fi movie looks like our childhood video game dream come true.

After watching this footage (which screened at Comic-Con last week), we’re a little less worried about the state of the sequel to 1982’s sci-fi classic Tron. For one, it’s been retitled Tron Legacy—which seems slightly less lame than the original title TR2N—and it’s also clear from the teaser that watching this flick in IMAX 3D is gonna be our childhood video game fantasy come true. Watch the trailer for the original film after the jump…

Forget glowsticks—a European designer has created a new concept that could really change the flashlight game.

It’s a shame what happened to glowsticks. What was once a useful hand-held lighting device has since been ruined by generations of raver douchebags who twirl them like batons. Luckily, it looks like flashlight technology might be taking another step forward with this Fiber Optic Glove concept.

Created by Slovenian designer Tilen Sepic for DesignBoom’s Bright LED competition, the power of the gloves starts at the wrist, where a battery pack and LED light source are hidden. Vein-like fiber optic wires then bring the light up the hand to the index finger and thumb. With the touch of a button, your palm will glow a bright white light, or emit a beam from the finger tip. Tron Guy would be proud. See more images of the concept below…

Kanye flipped some clips from Tron in the video for "I Wonder".

Finally, six months after the release of Graduation, Kanye West is starting to release the exclusive videos that he screened at the album’s listening session. In case you missed it, 'Ye made movie magic when he sat fans down at New World Stages theater in NYC and played songs like “Stronger” and “Good Morning” set to futuristic classics like Akira and 2001: A Space Odessy. Just wait ’til he pulls out his Ace'the NSFW hentai porn set to “Drunk And Hot Girls”. In the meantime, brace yourself for a visual rollercoaster for “I Wonder,” set to clips from the 1982 sci-fi classic Tron, after the jump.
