Sneakers Performance Review: Tinker Hatfield On The Making Of The Air Jordan 2010

Jordan-2010-lead
Besides this weekend being the ultimate shit show that marks the mid-point of the NBA season, All-Star Weekend is also the time when the new Jordan gets released. This year, the Air Jordan 2010 is the signature sneaker of Dwayne Wade (check back for an interview with D-Wade on Monday), and is a project headed up by two Nike All-Star designers: Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. We got a chance to have Tinker take us through the performance elements of the Air Jordan 2010. It’s complicated, and awesome, and even that little window has a reason for being there. Hit the jump for our interview with Tinker where he breaks down the specifics of the Air Jordan 2010.

Kicks of the Day Jordan Stealth XX3

Don't say the people over at Jordan Brand never did anything for you. Not only did they re-connect with design genius Tinker Hatfield for the XX3, they also chose to make the best color up of the set available in a wide release. By now you know the stats on the XX3'they're one of the lightest performance shoes to ever come out of Oregon, they're environment-friendly, and it's possible that they'll complete the iconic Jordan series. Stress about the latter another day, cop these early Saturday morning so you can say you went out on top.
