Sometimes—like when our solid T-shirts and button-ups somehow give off the misleading Pussy Mr. Nice Guy impression—the limits of modern clothing options really blow, leaving us wondering: How we are supposed to show off our crazy, beast-hunting roots. With a leather jacket???
Luckily, today’s Buy It Now–from the L.E.S. clothing brand Rockers NYC–provides a better solution: a 100% cotton, bright orange T-shirt with a design that is guaranteed to bring out your inner, slightly psychotic, skateboard-wielding skeleton pirate (word to Powell Peralta, thuns!). The intense background lettering, explosive design, and stand-out color make this shirt a top-of-the-line buy. Throw in the decent price and you’d be loco not to scoop it up. Topman also just released its pastel-colored ’80s rock-inspired collection designed by Antony Price that boasts tones that are perfect for the spring season.
WHAT’S NEXT: Topman is releasing its White T-Shirt collection next week. The Topman team hooked up with proven designers like Richard Chai, Phillip Lim, Christopher Shannon, Juun J, JW Anderson and Henry Holland for a well-rounded range that features some of the sickest t-shirts of the season. You can’t really put a price on a T-shirt that you’ll wear forever. Sure, you can keep rotating through Hanes’ 3-packs every few months, but eventually those dollars add up. The wiser move is to invest in some quality tees that’ll hold you down for years.
Take, for example, this crewneck from L.A.-based designer James Perse. Well before American Apparel, Perse garnered a devoted following for his simple, instantly wearable, quality classics. The Inside Out T is a 100% cotton knit with an inside-out pocket detail and a great worn-in look and feel. Keep it out of your girlfriend’s hands or you may never see it again.
