adidas’ has always been big on getting artists to trick out their sneakers, and for August the brand has tapped UK-based illustrator Mysterious Al to do work on some silos. Besides this Superstar Vulcanized sneaker, look for a set of t-shirts and a reversible jacket that hooks up to the shoe all featuring Al’s work to drop around the same time. The sneakers will be available at adidas Originals Stores as well as shopadidas.com, early next month.

Besides a ring and a batch of groupies, winning the NBA championship will get you a gold Superstar. Adidas created a limited-run of 500 pairs of these Celtics Superstar 1's that will drop on November 1.

The shoes feature details that pay homage to the squad, including the 07-08 championship banner on the tongue, as well as the Celts' mascot on the footbed.
