If you haven't heard, our boss man Marc Ecko is a Star Wars freak. Aside from displaying a gang of rare Jedi collectibles in his office (and a massive Yoda window in ours!), he just churned out The Stars Wars Collection, a new clothing line that features standout pieces like the Storm Trooper hoodie above.

The villains are winning! Movie deals, that is. Thanks to the half a billion dollars Heath Ledger’s disturbing portrayal of The Joker has helped The Dark Knight gross in two weeks, Sony has greenlit a Spider-Man spinoff for his adversary Venom, the gooey alien life form that brings out people’s evil, vengeful side. We ain’t mad at the rise of bad. Good guys usually have bitch in them anyway. After the jump, see five villains that Complex would like to see get their own movie.

#5: The Mountain Men, Deliverance

What’s not to love about backwoods hicks who abduct guys on river rafting trips and make them squeal like piggies with they rape them? This one is a bonafide hit. From the back!

Win Soulcalibur IV For Xbox 360

You’ve already finished (or given up on) Grand Theft Auto IV, and Madden doesn’t come out for two weeks. So what’s new to play in the meantime? Funny you should ask, because the best brawler in the biz'Soulcalibur IV (Namco Bandai: 360, PS3)'is in stores tomorrow. We’ve already hipped you to the game’s inclusion of Yoda and Darth Vader (the little guy is Xbox 360-only, and Vader is exclusive to PS3), but they’re just two of many reasons why you need to cop this game…

Here are five more:

The controls are tighter than Pete Wentz’s jeans
It’s the first Soulcalibur of the HD era
New gameplay mechanics let you visibly weaken the armor of opponents, making them susceptible to Critical Finish moves
There are improved character customization features, including build, voice, and facial appearance

The Vader Project Breathes Heavily On Japan

It’s almost too easy to shit on Star Wars nerds. Besides, every now and again something actually cool comes out of the “movie franchise that will never die.” We can’t even front on The Vader Project, which exhibited over the weekend at Celebration Japan, an arts and culture shindig held outside of Tokyo.

The Vader Project is the brainchild of Dov Kelemer and Sarah Ho Marks of DKE Toys, who gave a bunch of contemporary artists a 1:1 scale Darth Vader helmet and told them to put their own imprint on the uber-villain’s domepiece. The original exhibit, featuring Mister Cartoon, Haze, and Estevan Oriol, among others, toured last year in L.A, London, and Comic-Con in San Diego. This weekend’s showing in Tokyo featured the additions of 13 Japanese artists, including T9G, Devil Robots, and Usugrow. After the jump, check out our favorites from the Japan show.

George Lucas Continues ‘Star Wars’ Atrocities

George Lucas continues to rub salt in the wounds of real Star Wars fans the world over. In what can only be described as a final act of perversion, Lucas revealed that he'll be turning one of the greatest movie franchises of all time into a cartoon, citing how he wasn’t able to finish the story with only six full length movies over thirty years, “I felt there were a lot more Star Wars stories left to tell.” As if the latest Star Wars trilogy that included such disasters as Jar Jar Binks, not to mention the re-mastering of the originals, wasn’t a bad enough transgression, the legendary producer is now set to release The Clone Wars featuring state-of-the-art computer-generated animation. A full-length movie will be released in theatres in mid-August, followed by a TV series premiering this Fall on the Cartoon Network.
