In her new Almodóvar movie Broken Embraces, which opens this weekend, Cruz plays a call-girl named Lena who becomes a mistress to one dude, and then falls in love with another. Yeah, she’s getting it in. Her latest role is just another bullet point on her scandalous resume, that includes making out with Scar Jo, and hooking up with Charlize Theron. Sensacell Floor Lights Up Like ‘Billie Jean’

The Spanish basketball team might have made a fool out of themselves in the Olympics, but their home country is still looking out for the international community by hosting the 2008 World Expo, which runs all summer long in Zaragoza.

One of the installations that’s turning heads in the eco-friendly exhibit is an LED floor created by designer Sensacell, which spans 250 square feet using 1,000 illuminating panels. Just like the famous street in Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” video, the pressure sensitive floor glows with every step. The more foot-traffic that comes through, the brighter the panels get. Quarantine Brings Euro-Horror To America

Sooner or later, Hollywood is bound to run out of Asian horror movies to remake. Could Euro-horror be next? The trailer for Quarantine just hit the web, and it looks like it might just jump start the trend. This movie, which is a remake of the Spanish movie [REC], follows a TV camera crew into an L.A. apartment building that has been quarantined after one of the residents gets a strange disease (i.e. some Zombie-type shit). It uses the faux-documentary shaky camera style made popular by The Blair Witch Project and, more recently, Cloverfield.
