Shaun White is both a professional skater and snowboarder, so it’s not surprising he wants to be pro-everything else, too. His clothing collection for Target is already available, and his second video game, Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage (Ubisoft-Nintendo Wii), just dropped yesterday. Pretty impressive for a 23-year-old, but we knew that dude was an overachiever the first time we saw him land a 1260.
The Olympic gold medalist stopped by the ‘Plex to answer our notorious Complex 7 questionnaire and talk about his favorite features in the new game. Read on to see what he thinks about girls who snowboard, and what he’s embarrassed (or not embarrassed) to wear out in public…

The follow up to last year’s Shaun White video game, Shaun White World Stage drops this Sunday, November 8th at Target. The Target edition comes with a bonus DVD of Shaun White’s top secret training facility in Silverton Coloroado, a little million dollar something something that Red Bull put together so he could win the Olympics. The game is awesome (works with the Wii Fit), and the DVD is a great way to entertain yourself while you wait for the first snow. Hello Sunday! [Shaun White Game 2]

If you don’t know who “The Flying Tomato Is” you might want to brush up on your pop culture. Basically Shaun White is the guy who wins almost every major snowboard (and now some skate!) contests and the man who gives Sal Masekela a reason to get up in the morning. Look for him going for the gold in Olympic halfpipe this coming winter. Jesse, his older brother, designs the White Collection for Burton and now the Shaun White for Target collections.

Action sports has its share of entrepreneurs, but many of them sacrifice credibility for a paycheck. Maybe you’ve heard of Ryan Sheckler or Andy MacDonald? Oye. Pro Snowboarder Shaun White balances the two well, though. He’s risen above the bickering and combined big tricks and big contest wins with big money-making projects (see his full clothing line The White Collection with Burton, Shaun White for Target, etc.)
This Sunday, the Flying Tomato will drop his first video game, Shaun White Snowboarding. The gameplay is a lot like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, but the graphics and scenery are pumped up to utilize every pixel on that HDTV from your Christmas list (recession special!). Read on for the rest of the review and to see screen caps from the Target’s exclusive bonus level…

There are two brothers White. Shaun is a professional skateboarder/snowboarder, and Jesse is the designer behind Burton’s impressive White Collection. Success begets success, and on July 27th, the two are dropping Shaun White for Target, a continuation of the series that the Target superbrand has been creating in conjunction with designers in the know.
Maybe you heard of Rogan for Target? Maybe you were paying attention to your girl when she was yakking up Zac Posen working for the Bullseye? No? Well, no worries. Shaun White for Target is a collection of access point skate clothes ($10-30) you can actually buy in this post-America, “Why can’t you pay me in Euros?” economic setting. Read on for an interview with the man behind the collection, Jesse White, and to peep the collection.

Winter X Games XII kicked off in Aspen last night. Tanner Hall placed first in the men’s ski superpipe and Levi LaVallee took the gold for doing backflips on a snowmobile. Something he’s obviously practiced before. Shaun White, jamming with Mat Hoffman at the Target Chalet last night, hasn’t slipped any gold around his neck. But he’s definitely cashing checks in Aspen. Yesterday Burton announced a new 10-year deal with White with intentions of expanding his signature line, The White Collection. The announcement comes on the heels of White’s new contract with Target to produce a casual line under his name. Maybe White will get the big Red Dot to change its stance on bloggers.
