Nas Gets Down With ‘Nobody Wa s Thirsty’ Project

Guess Nas just can’t let Jay-Z have the last word, huh? Two years after Jigga teamed up with the U.N. to address the world’s water crisis, God’s Son is now doing his own part to raise funds to provide clean drinking water for impoverished peoples. Take that, Hova!

OK, we kid'Nas’s participation in the Nobody Wa s Thirsty project has nothing to do with rap. The charity was created by Australian denim brand Nobody, in collaboration with Hollywood’s Ivan Kane’s Cafe Wa s and charity: water. Each Nobody T-shirt sells for $60, which is enough to supply two people with clean drinking water for up to 20 years. Check the charity web site this Friday for info on buying the T-shirt. To spread awareness, Nobody enlisted photographer Mick Rock to shoot celebrities wearing the Nobody Wa s Thirsty T-shirt. If you were persistent enough to brave the crowd at NYC hot-spot 1Oak last night for Kanye West's Absolut 100 Glow In The Dark After Party, you probably noticed that the venue was packed wall-to-wall with celebrity eye-candy.

We did without the faux-Kanye shutter shades'which the event coordinators were handing out'so our vision would be 20/20. Although America's Next Top Model alums like Saleisha Stowers and Jaseline Gonzalez were present, as well as Vicki Secret's model Selita Ebanks, it was Danity Kane's blonde bombshell Aubrey O'Day (pictured above) who seemed to be the center of attention. We realize that Nick Cannon is probably sitting pretty high on your Kufi category, but you must admit, the dude definitely gets his Leon Phelps on. Having already bedded chicks like Christina Milian, Victoria Secret's model Selita Ebanks and Kim Kardashian (allegedly) Cannon recently confirmed to People that him and the never-past-her-prime Mariah Carey are now an item.

There's even been chatter that the two are engaged, which wouldn't be that much of a shocker being that Nicky put the cuffs on Ebanks with the quickness. After looking through Cannon's resume of women he's slayed in the past few years, we got to thinking, Who takes top billing as the hottest chick in Nick's rotation? OK, so we have no interest in women's makeup or underwear. Well, maybe their underwear. Sadly, we didn't get a glimpse of any Victoria’s Secret unmentionables at last night's launch party at NYC's Xchange building for their new makeup line, Very Sexy. Fortunately, being in the presence of all the Victoria's Secret angels was all we needed. We'll have to make due until the fashion show this December on CBS. Stay tuned.
