Music Wale Flips Seinfeld On The Mixtape About Nothing

With hip-hop’s '80s nostalgia in full swing, it’s good to see the '90s getting some play with the release of Wale’s new Seinfeld-inspired mixtape. Known as The Mixtape About Nothing, this marks the first release from the D.C. native since signing to Interscope records via Mark Ronson’s Allido Records imprint.

Hosted by DJ Nick Catchdubs (and sponsored by clothing line 10 Deep), Wale picks up where the show left off: he samples the opening theme song, starts every track name with “the” (like Seinfeld’s episode titles) and questions the state of the music industry as only Jerry would have done (”What’s the deal?”). See the tracklisting and download it after the jump.
