Images surfaced last week of Lindsay Lohan’s Vogue Espana editorial photo shoot, an homage to Marilyn Monroe. Again. At first glance, there was the obligatory spewing of Lo-hate, but perhaps Lohan is the most Marilyn Monroe-iest of all the young starlets out there. Monroe was the first average looking lady to trick the world with makeup, poses, and flirting, who made it all the way to the president’s bed without a ton of natural talent. Sure Sam Ronson isn’t the same as JFK, but you get the gist.
Lohan has done the Marilyn thing many times, and getting naked was cool and all, but there are other starlets who have taken the classic sex symbol as muse, and done it better. Scarlett Johansson gives and gives. First The Spirit star blessed the world with huge twos and horrendous acting, and now she’s making money for the charity USA Harvest by auctioning off a snot-soaked tissue she blew her nose with on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (bless you very much, peons).
Scar-Jo is continuing a rather disturbing trend of getting fans to pay big money to for a little celebrity DNA. If you ask us, we should be showering her with DNA. Ever since the NY Post started rumors about Woody Allen’s new movie back in February, we’ve been intrigued. A anonymous source told Page Six that the upcoming Vicky Cristina Barcelona would include a threesome with the film’s stars Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. It also said that the two actresses have a lesbian make out session:
“People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and it will leave the audience gasping.”
Well today, an early trailer/reel of the movie leaked out, and yes, it does give a brief glimpse at the dirty dark room secret. The film doesn’t come out until September 5, so watch the first look after the jump.

With Sin City’s Frank Miller writing and directing the big screen version of Will Eisner’s The Spirit, two legends in the comic game have joined forces. How could it get any better? Well, for one, Scarlett Johansson is playing Silken Floss, Spirit’s femme fatale character and co-conspirator to Octopus (played by Samuel L. Jackson). The first photos of Scar-Jo in her Silken costume have leaked, and they appear to show shorty dressed as a nurse. Does this mean that elements from Silken Floss MD will be in the film? Since the onset of summer, the Complex staff has been hitting the gym daily. But we confess, sometimes our eyes get the hardest workout, staring at the shapely female physiques working the treadmills. As if we weren't already in awe of athletic ladies in motion, this fall we'll be ogling them in Scarlett Johansson's new line Scarlett (Hearts) Rbk for Reebok. We haven't seen any of the apparel yet, but if Scarlett endorses it, we have little doubt that it'll be easy (or hard) on the eyes. We'll be watching. Dip, dip, set, set.
