The adidas Originals collection is synonymous with storied tennis sneakers. As previously mentioned, the brand will release a set of kicks dedicated to paying homage to court icons like Rod Laver, Stan Smith and Illie Nastase as part of their Tournament Edition series. Coupling upgrades of luxe materials with classic color combinations the Rod Laver Vintage Lux, Stan Smith Vintage, Nastase Master, Forest Hills Vintage and G.S will drop at Originals retailers in April. Adidas steps it up for Spring/Summer 08 with this luxury collection. Styles ranging from the Campus Vintage to the Rod Laver Vintage are hooked up with premium materials, rarely seen on the iconic models.
