We can just barely remember when remote controls were still attached to the TV by a wire. But aside from the wireless innovation, the old &#39;mote has remained pretty boring, despite being a central part of our lives.</p>
<p>Well now, <strong>Joris van Gelder&#8217;s B&#038;O Remote</strong> is finally taking the next leap. Not only is it wireless, but it&#8217;s <em>touchless</em>, responding mostly to simple hand gestures. The idea was to design a remote for sticky-fingered kitchen use, but we could be looking at the future of channel surfing in any room. See how it works in videos after the jump&#8230;<br />
