Fight Night Face Off: Filipina Women vs. Puerto Rican Women

The highly-anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto fight is finally going down this Saturday and you can sure it’ll be at least worth the bar’s cover charge (click here for our interview with Pacquiao’s trainer). Actually, we can’t guarantee that, given the quickie knockouts the Pac-Man has been handing out for the past couple of years. Still, we wouldn’t count out Cotto just yet—dude’s only lost one bout out of the 35 he’s fought in his pro career. But since you won’t know for sure until they tap gloves, we thought we’d set up a little match that we could decide for ourselves. We’re putting the hottest girls from their respectrive homelands (Pacquiao’s Philippines and Cotto’s Puerto Rico) in the ring for a hot-to-deathmatch. One thing’s for sure: we’d give any of these ladies a standing 8-count anytime…

Round #1: Luana Lani vs. Carmen Luvana
• If we could only judge this round based on more than looks alone, maybe the results would differ—but since we can’t, we gotta hand this round to Carmen. The porn star’s already racked up some championship belts, including an XRCO Award for a girl-on-girl scene with Jenna Jameson in 2004.

Wow. When it comes to beautiful women, we’ve seen it all here at Complex. Every flavor of sexy lady has graced our pages, but we have to confess that the bikini shoot from our February/March 2009 issue truly has everyone at the office in awe.

When it comes to Puerto Rican women, sometimes it seems like mainstream pop culture can’t get past Jennifer Lopez. We’ll always have love for Jenny from the Block (so many good times!), but damn, there are plenty of other boricua stunners to set your sites on.

Consider this half-Puerto Rican/half-Ecuadorian singer the BeyoncÃ© of 3LW. The real superstar of the young R&B trio has gone on to act in Disney TV shows like The Cheetah Girls and That’s So Raven. Recently she’s been linked to Kim Kardashian’s brother Robert, and rumor has it they might have recently gotten married.

Melonie Diaz

This around the way girl from New York’s Lower East Side has been likened to Rosario Dawson for her cutesy looks and for making a splash in the indie flick the A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. Somebody let her know that we’d like to grab a margarita with her at The Hat on Stanton Street.

Susie Castillo is actually part Puerto Rican part Dominican'still the best of both worlds. The MTV VJ became Miss U.S.A. in 2003, then landing a role in Disney’s Underdog, which she promoted being photographed under bed sheets in the pages of Complex.
