The highly-anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto fight is finally going down this Saturday and you can sure it’ll be at least worth the bar’s cover charge (click here for our interview with Pacquiao’s trainer). Actually, we can’t guarantee that, given the quickie knockouts the Pac-Man has been handing out for the past couple of years. Still, we wouldn’t count out Cotto just yet—dude’s only lost one bout out of the 35 he’s fought in his pro career. But since you won’t know for sure until they tap gloves, we thought we’d set up a little match that we could decide for ourselves. We’re putting the hottest girls from their respectrive homelands (Pacquiao’s Philippines and Cotto’s Puerto Rico) in the ring for a hot-to-deathmatch. Wow. When it comes to beautiful women, we’ve seen it all here at Complex. Every flavor of sexy lady has graced our pages, but we have to confess that the bikini shoot from our February/March 2009 issue truly has everyone at the office in awe.
For the feature, entitled “Tropical Fantasy,” we brought the whole crew down to San Juan, Puerto Rico to shoot two of the baddest models that the country has to offer. We promise you won’t be disappointed by the results.

So, 515 years ago today, a really pushy Italian named Christopher Columbus landed on the island that we now call Puerto Rico. Yeah, not exactly the greatest day in Boricuan history, but asi es la vida. But before our Puerto Rican friends go have it out with the guys at their local pizzeria, we ask: Think of the women! Specifically, think of Puerto Rican women! And if you have any problems bringing a few to mind, take a look at our picks.

When it comes to Puerto Rican women, sometimes it seems like mainstream pop culture can’t get past Jennifer Lopez. We’ll always have love for Jenny from the Block (so many good times!), but damn, there are plenty of other boricua stunners to set your sites on.
In honor of this Sunday’s Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, we thought we would remind you all of a couple ladies who have roots in our favorite Caribbean commonwealth. Check out our rundown of 5 ladies from the worlds of film, music and modeling below.
