
In case you hadn’t yet heard the news, Max B.’s conviction in that robbery-murder case in New Jersey has ended in a 75-year prison sentence. For a dude who didn’t pull any triggers, that seems a bit steep, but we digress. Despite the sadness of the occasion, we refuse to be swept into the outpouring of grief that is engulfing the Internet today, and instead choose to celebrate young Charley Wingate the way he would want us to: by reliving a few of his waviest moments. It seems as though Michael Vick is making the most of his 23-month long bid at the U.S Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. The former free-scrambling QB turned dog-fighting kingpin has been taking on numerous side hustles since being incarcerated, including playing automatic quarterback during prison pick-up games and delving into other Cinderella-type occupations.
As the Daily News reports, Vick is washing pots and pans for 12 cents an hour'a wage slightly less than the $1.4 million per year he was bringing in while playing for the Falcons. But given that a judge recently ruled that Vick could keep $16.25 million of the $20 million in bonus money the Falcons were trying to snatch back, why is he still washing dishes?
