Despite the low model-to-actress success rate in Hollywood, Irina has landed several TV roles (most notably, Fallopia on Adult Swim’s Saul Of the Mole Men) and supporting parts in films (Reno 911: Miami, Balls of Fury and Epic Movie). With her most recent film, Casino Job, just out on DVD, the time is right to put her through the Complex 7 treatment. Read on to find out what Irina has to say about loving Kanye West, the Russian cure for a bad hangover and her crush on ScarJo, plus some bangin’ bonus pics…

#1: WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER ONE DEAL-BREAKER FOR A POTENTIAL BOYFRIEND?

Irina says: “I don’t like cocky guys. I don’t like people kissing up to me either, but some guys…like I was ‘08 St. Pauli Girl spokesmodel. So I’ve completed a full U.S. tour, and I was the only person. And believe me, I met a lot of people; I virtually went to every town in the United States doing promotion. And a lot of the guys, they’re just not nice. In fact, in Chicago, it was the worst experience. Like people asked, ‘Who are you? What do you do? Why are you wearing this?’ And [they also] said, ‘Oh, I don’t drink your beer.’ Just talking rudely. Like do you really think I like being here? Sitting next to you to watch a football game? No, I’m just here because I’m doing my job, and I can’t be rude to you in reverse, unfortunately.”

#2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RAP ALBUM?

Irina says: “I love Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak. I think everything he does is genius, and it’s only getting better.”

#3: WHAT TYPE OF FOOTWEAR WOULD MAKE YOU COMPLETELY DISMISS A MAN AS A POTENTIAL HOOK-UP?

Irina says: “I wouldn’t say a brand turns me off. If you’re out at night, you may want to wear nicer sneakers. But some of them have too much going on. Sometimes they have animal patterns. I think there’s a very fine line for guys as to how far they could go with that. If I see a guy wearing zebra pattern sneakers, that just raises questions. I think sneakers need to complement the outfit, and not to talk in your face like, ‘Hey! Look at my sneakers!’ Like, ‘Hey, I have all these spikes, blings and neons.’ Like that’s maybe too much I think.”

#4: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD OR HANGOVER REMEDY?

Irina says: “I used to drink, but not anymore. But this is what Russian people do. Since there’s no Vitamin Water in Russia we drink a lot of pickle marinade to put electrolytes back in the body. But a cure for hangover in the morning is to just have a shot of vodka or a beer. A lot of people do beer, but if you need to get well, to compose yourself, you just need to have a shot of vodka and you’ll be fine. It’s kind of like when you poison your body, it’s not going to recover unless it’s just a little bit more. Like seriously, I tell that to a lot of people here in America, and they don’t listen to me most of the time. Like you’re not going to get out your house today, unless you do what I’m telling you to do. If you’re going to stay around the house, just have a beer, or a couple beers. That’ll give you a tranquil feeling. If you need to get going, just have a shot of vodka, and you’ll be fine.”

#5: WHAT’S THE MOST EFFECTIVE APHRODISIAC FOR YOU?

Irina says: “It can be food. It can be visual. It can be alcohol [laughs]. As far as food though, I think sushi maybe? Anything nicely served. Any clean food. Or even just strawberries and champagne.”

#6: WHO’S A CHILDHOOD CRUSH YOU CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HAD?

Irina says: “I had a huge crush on Bon Jovi. I mean looking at him right now, it makes me smile because I wouldn’t be attracted to somebody like that now. Just because I’m older, and I’m not attracted to a picture or a person I’ve never met. A lot of times, when I work with male models, when they open their mouth, there’s nothing to talk about. It’s not about looks; it’s more about personality, and if you have the chemistry. But when I was little, he was so hot and exciting.”

#7: INTERESTING. THEN WHO’S YOUR WOMAN CRUSH?

Irina says: “Scarlett Johansson. I’ll see any movie she’s in just because she’s wildly attractive. I just want to see her on screen.”

The debate over nudie images heated up in 2006, when Playboy Indonesia opened up shop. Despite the fact that this edition of the mag contained no actual nudity, it was the subject of relentless protests from the 85% Muslim population.
